What to bring to hospital

The following is a guide of what to bring to hospital:

  • All your medications - this includes all the medications                            you were advised not to take prior to surgery i.e warfarin

  • Any relevant x-rays and scans

  • Doctors Letters

  • Medicare Card & Private Health Fund cards

  • Any concession cards i.e pension or Veteran's Affairs Card

  • Admission form (if not already submitted)

  • Pyjamas, dressing gown, slippers

  • Toiletries - toothbrush/toothpaste, hairbrush/comb

  • Glasses - optical

  • Comfortable clothing

  • Books/Magazines

Please note you are advised not to bring any valuables with you to the hospital.
